Been ages since i last watch movies, probably a month, and i just caught a show called The Perfect Getaway. I did not realize was "Getaway" I thought was "Gateway" all this while.

The movie has a great start, it started off with 1 couple, Cliff and Cydney (their job : screenwriter), going on their honeymoon trip after their wedding. They reach an island in Hawaii and met another couple, Kale and Cleo (gangster looking).

Kale was looking for vehicle to hitchhike to a beach. And the gentle couple, Cliff, rejected them due to their fierce attitude. And somehow, they bump into each other again in the later part of the movie plot and of course, Cliff was, of course, threatened.

Along the way, Cliff and Cydney met another couple, Nick (Ex-soldier) and Gina and they traveled together. They hear a news about another honeymooning couple murdered. And immediately they began suspecting Kale and Cleo due to their look.

Spolier 1:
Somehow, the police was arrested Kale and Cleo and found evidence in their backpack. The remaining 2 couples rejoiced, thinking their vacation is safe. But of course, how could it end this easily? Right?:)

So now, it should be clear that it should be either cliff and cydney or nick and gina.

Spoiler 2
At the last beach scene, the couples played and enjoy themselves in the sun. While it is not unusual for Nick to have a muscular body (I am not a gay to comment on this) but it seems pretty unusual that a screen write, Cliff, has a much better build than Nick. And Cliff has this nerdy look around him, and rarely imo, nerdy screen writers has great build, even better than a soldier.

I am not saying screen writers don't go to gym or anything like that. But a build better than a soldier? Extremely rare!

And this is where my suspicious or rather, every movie watcher's suspicion kicks in. and the rest, you should be able to guess it out.

It is pretty gore towards towards the end. Not the gore as in saw series movies but cut hands and the shape of an army knife in the calfs~

Great suspense show. It got me guessing who the murderer really was. The portion where they show the murderer was really confusing, given the chance, i will wish to watch it again, on DVD or Blu-ray
