Spoilt Brats - Such a Pain in the Ass

Are the children of our generation getting spoilt?

Are they trained to in such a way to whine and argue just to get what they want? Expecting every single thing to follow their wishes.

Acting like an angel in front of others, and a devil with u.

I came across a case where an elder brother and younger sister argue for almost nothing.

Basically the elder brother is not working, while the younger sister is working at an MNC earning more than what the older brother use to earn.

Lets call them Bro and Sis for easier reference

And 1 fine day, Bro decided to get a phone for his mum as her phone was getting faulty. And he took him a proud phone. Everyone was happy except for sis,

Why? Because, the brother is the good guy! The sister starts to comment on the various bad point of the phone. And the funny part comes, the sister says "i gonna buy mum a diamond ring"

When i heard that part from my friend, i choke from laughing as i know what kind of person the sis is too.

Another incident, when the sister is with outsiders, she call home just to ask if anything is needed to purchase back home. while with family members, she will just, "don't you have any limbs? Why don'y you go and buy. I work the entire day. i am tired after working in a BIG company"

She should be waiting for no one, yet everybody wait for her, you are late for 1 minute and you get fucked. she is late for 5 minutes and, no apologies from her. As though we are her servants.

Testing - Failing and Falling before Success

We, when young, before we learn to walk, crawled. And along the way from the transition to walking, we failed to walk and we fall~ And as babies, or small little adorable kids, we are allowed to fail.

We test and trial various methods to get ourselves standing up on our 2 feet and walk.Through falling down, we learn the proper and shortest way to stand up and venture to the next stage, which is walking.

In our adult years, seems like many of us lose the courage to try, hence losing our babypreneurship and the appetite to take fall and take risk in order to move on to the next stage.

Most of the people i seen,heard and saw, preferred to remain (un)happily in the current state.

Human are lazy, that a definite truth. It's the final goal and results which we desired that propelled us forward. But at the same time, something called, hesitation and preparation stopped us.

We tend to want to have everything planned so nicely that it has to be perfect before we take out and risk venturing out. But would it be too late?

Or we need to see other people success at the same thing, before we want to try, but, as mentioned above, is it too late?

For me, it does not matter how many times, you fail. All you need is simply a single successful shot to hit your goal and there is where you know you have succeed!

And its a numbers game for success. Well , if you tried once, you only have a single chance at success However, if you tried 1000 times, you have 1000 times to hit your aim.

Or am i just the odd ball out in the crowd that does and thinks things differently from the rest?

Anime - Melody of Oblivion Review

Finally finish the series of anime lasting 24 episodes - Melody of Oblivion

Well, for some people 24 episode can be finished in 3-4 days, while for me, it took an estimation of 3 weeks. I only watch anime if only i am eating at home. In this case, i am usually sitting at the front of the PC.

Short introduction

The storyline took place after the 20th century after a monster vs human war which the monsters merged victorious. While most of the time, monster seldom appear in the society and those human who lived through the war are aware of the existence of monsters, while for the human / children who were borned after that, they will not be aware.

And of course, monsters eat human. Selected humans which are called Meros warriors, with certain tattoos, are on a mission to kill the monsters and their agents (human who are helping the monsters), on motebikes called inver machines or aiba machines to kill them off using their bows and arrows after enchanting them with special powers.

And meros warriors are "blessed" by the melody of oblivion, who acts as their god.

The story focus on Bocca, with his ivermachine, travels with a girl called sayoko to slay the monster and monster union members along the way.

The anime will not make any sense when you are watching the first few episodes as the story line, other additional characters are drawn with a unique style. The story line is unlike the typical animes which provides a direct storyline

In the episode, Bocca saves a town by slaying the monster union agent. But by slaying the agent, the revenue of the town is "slayed" as the agent helps to bring in tourists to their area. How? watch it yourself.

Watching melody of oblivion gives me a final fantasy feeling as some parts of the story line fits in with FF and the sound effect, music have an FF feel to it.

As with all animes with fighting scenes, whenever the hero whipped out his special killing skill, there will always be the special effect scenewhich we definitely will get sick of watching, and this anime is not different from the rest.

Other than Bocca, the special effect scenes of the remaining 2 female meros warriors are a bit... special! Watch it yourself again :)

It does teaches us something about life too. In the 2nd or 3rd episode which is about fog, it teaches us that,it does not pay to poke your nose into other people business.

Firefox Facebook Bejeweled Blitz Cheats NEW WORKING Hacks

Kudos to Cybershadow for giving us the solution (ahem cheats) for the new version of facebook bejeweled blitz.

As usual, this cheat will only work in firefox and the steps are a lot easier now as compared to the previous bejeweled blitz cheats

As of 27th 2010, popcap has released a new version of bejeweled with coins and boosts. The cheats is still working but there is will no coins nor boosts drops and your cheated score will not be saved as long as the addon cheats is enabled.

New Facebook Bejeweled Blitz Version - Hurrah

Goodbye old bejeweled blitz

Well, say good bye to the old bejeweled blitz, a new version has come one which i still have not got used to.

Now they even have a new a new kind of gem called the star gem. Which explodes vertically and horizontally. Pretty cool ar?

Now this is the star gem effect, beautiful explosives? don't you think so?

Other than the star gem, the rest remains typically the same. The power gem has been renamed as the flame jam, else everything is the same.

And all the special gems has a new design now. The hybercube seems uglier now.

Anyways, i have not got used to the new interface. I cant seems to locate the gems. Color has become more confusing and the gems size seems to be getting smaller.. or is my eyesight spoilt?

anyways, there is something called the last hurrah. What this last hurrah does is to explode ALL your special gems after the timer reaches 0.

the special gems include, flame gem, hyper gem, star gem , multipler gem

One thing i hate about the game is that its seems to be more retarded now. The controls are must slower, as in the clicks and swaps. Seems like i need to select a cube twice before i could swap it.

If you manage to get to the max speed bonus of 1000 points per swap, you will notice that the game will increase in it speed while keeping the timer at the same speed. Means that you can do more swapping within a limited time.

and now, since there is no cheats for bejeweled blitz facebook. It really time to know who are the real players who can score.

Previously there was a cheat for the old version which can get you millions. or unlimited time.

Now without the cheats, the scoreboard will reveal the real players :)

For my scoreboard, i did not see any old "top scorers" maybe they have not play the game yet :)

Update : i saw a millionare on my chart already!

Ronald Cheng X William So 2009 Concert

Ever had a CEO sing songs to u? I nearly had the chance on sat 03- Oct-2009 when i watch the ronald cheng and william so concert at expo with my gf. 郑中基 苏永康 Live 09

Why the CEO reference?

Ronald Cheng's dad Paco cheng offered ronald the CEO position which he rejected.

Anyway, this concert was planned as a surprise for my gf as a 1 year anniversary gift. Well, a few days short actually~

She was totally unaware of this concert until the last 15 min. She even did not suspect anything when we took a cab to the indoor stadium (Well, i went to kallang indoor stadium in the hurry, instead of singapore expo, had to pick her up from work at 7pm!!)

I did not check the concert location on tickets probably, wasted a $10 cab fare ~_~

Luckily manage to hitch a cab at indoor stadium and rush to expo before the concert started, we were late, yet there were people even later than us. On the tickets, it states 730pm, however, i think it started around 750~ Lucky~

Never had i expect a full house for the 郑中基 苏永康 Live 09 Concert. I was kinda expecting it to be 50% full since they are old "fading" stars.

During the concert, too much cantonese was spoken, which make me feel lost. Concert itself was so so as i could not understand most of the part and i am particularly a big fan of them. Bought this tickets for my gf as she mentioned that she did wanted to see them somewhere in aug when she saw their concert advertisement.

Both of appeared and sing together for short segments of the concert. Starting 1 song, middle of the concert 2 songs. And an encore of 2 songs~ If not, they were appearing separately.

William and ronald were mobbed when they walk down the stage to get close with the fan. At one stage, william even stand on an audience chair to sing!

The encore was not that hyping, maybe well, becos its cantonese songs again.

One regret of mine was that i did not bring along my camera. Well, was worried that they have bag checking and will list the camera as prohibited item. At my previous concert experience (Jay chou) was that camera was not allowed at concerts.

However, in the concert hall, i spot several compact camera (easy to bring in) and Several prosumer cameras were spotted by me (DSLR similar-size camera, mine was a prosumer too) And i was not bag-checked at the entrance. Regret not bringing to take the pics. An 18x optical zoom camera helps when the singers are such small size.

Using HP to take pics was extremely blurry.

Overall, a nice concert!

Accident the mvoie review - 意外

It is by no accident that i watch this movie - accident. Somehow like the story, it seems like an coincidence that i watch his movie with my gf on a wednesday afternoon, however, it was a slight preplanned and expected event to watch movie.

Accident the movie, in chinese is called 意外 which means something unexpected, usually in the terms of something ominous.

In the movie, louis koo is the mastermind of a group whose job is to assassinate targets, by making their death look like an accident, for money of course!

The starting of the show was excellent and climatic. which gives me a feeling as though i am watching final destination.

Check out this trailer, its thrilling, full of suspense!

Along the way, accident the movie shows you how they brainstorm to murder another target, in which. The murder was smooth and their target was killed. However an accident occurs which kills another member of the accident gang and nearly took koo's life.

From his close shave of death, koo starts to become extremely paranoid and starts to investigate those around him. And from here, its a downturn for the show.

The ending of the show was the total opposite of the opening.

Usually after the movie, i will sit and laze around to listen to the OST. However after this show, immediately, i got out of my seat to leave the theater!

Miss Singapore Ris Low Fshion Interview with Video and Subtitles

Well, Ms Singapore, what the big hoo haaa. I heard in the papers about her credit card fraud and poor english. Her whatever issues, its does not bother me, because i dun really care, its about me.


The video, with the effects, especially the people's reaction, is marvellous. caught me laughing out loud in the middle of the night. 


Prior to this, i only saw her face on the papers, especially TNP. I was not expecting such lousy and her BOOOOMish english.


This is the first time i saw her talk, or watch anything related to this year's ms singapore. and this is definitely not something expected of a champion. Nor someone to represent singapore for a beauty and brain pageant.


However, her broken english is fine with me, having a broken english is part of a personality. Its the way she speaks and carry herself that got me armed and ready to shoot critics.


She speaks as though something is struck in her throat. Or maybe that her trait about being her that the judges like! The voice with something struck in the throat :)


Her vocab must be severly limited, to use the vocab that my primary school nephew will use.


Too bad for you ris low, singapore is an english speaking nation, You might be better off in other countries where english is not the first language.


But poor girl, to be dethroned, i believe that the worst part for her. Critics aimed at her, and she gave up. Well, she not strong enough yet!


If only she press on and continue upgrading herself during this period before the contest. Probably more people will be cheering her on instead of jeering her!


Well, Move on! Let her be another typical singaporean again.
