Ronald Cheng X William So 2009 Concert

Ever had a CEO sing songs to u? I nearly had the chance on sat 03- Oct-2009 when i watch the ronald cheng and william so concert at expo with my gf. 郑中基 苏永康 Live 09

Why the CEO reference?

Ronald Cheng's dad Paco cheng offered ronald the CEO position which he rejected.

Anyway, this concert was planned as a surprise for my gf as a 1 year anniversary gift. Well, a few days short actually~

She was totally unaware of this concert until the last 15 min. She even did not suspect anything when we took a cab to the indoor stadium (Well, i went to kallang indoor stadium in the hurry, instead of singapore expo, had to pick her up from work at 7pm!!)

I did not check the concert location on tickets probably, wasted a $10 cab fare ~_~

Luckily manage to hitch a cab at indoor stadium and rush to expo before the concert started, we were late, yet there were people even later than us. On the tickets, it states 730pm, however, i think it started around 750~ Lucky~

Never had i expect a full house for the 郑中基 苏永康 Live 09 Concert. I was kinda expecting it to be 50% full since they are old "fading" stars.

During the concert, too much cantonese was spoken, which make me feel lost. Concert itself was so so as i could not understand most of the part and i am particularly a big fan of them. Bought this tickets for my gf as she mentioned that she did wanted to see them somewhere in aug when she saw their concert advertisement.

Both of appeared and sing together for short segments of the concert. Starting 1 song, middle of the concert 2 songs. And an encore of 2 songs~ If not, they were appearing separately.

William and ronald were mobbed when they walk down the stage to get close with the fan. At one stage, william even stand on an audience chair to sing!

The encore was not that hyping, maybe well, becos its cantonese songs again.

One regret of mine was that i did not bring along my camera. Well, was worried that they have bag checking and will list the camera as prohibited item. At my previous concert experience (Jay chou) was that camera was not allowed at concerts.

However, in the concert hall, i spot several compact camera (easy to bring in) and Several prosumer cameras were spotted by me (DSLR similar-size camera, mine was a prosumer too) And i was not bag-checked at the entrance. Regret not bringing to take the pics. An 18x optical zoom camera helps when the singers are such small size.

Using HP to take pics was extremely blurry.

Overall, a nice concert!
