Prepaid credit card - Prepaid Debit card

Now that a fresh idea on me, prepaid credit cards and even prepaid debit card. I know that there tons of prepaid cards in this world.

Like in Singapore, we have prepaid transport card, which we call EZlink card. We deposit money into the card and we use for our local travels.

Prepaid Food Card

A card which you deposit money and enjoy discount if you are eating at the restaurant.

Prepaid Phone card

As stated, you deposit money into the cards to make phone calls.

But Prepaid Credit Card? That a first! To me, prepaid credit card is just a debit card, which you used when your credit card application was rejected. Which somehow gives you the convenience when purchasing online and indirectly increases your credit ranking if you use it responsibly

But a prepaid Debit card? What is it supposed to do?

I totally have have no idea for the usage for it?
