Maybe you have seen some posts with the title "testing" or weird comments that i leave to myself. This is because I been doing tests on "Do follow" instead of "Nofollow" and i think "DoFollow" is activated now instead of "NoFollow"
Let me know immediately if "DoFollow" comment is not working as "NoFollow" comment should be disabled.
What does "DoFollow" and "NoFollow" means?
Basically this will means that, with "DoFollow"
- Any comments left by you, and any links written in the comment, will be linked back to your website.
Meaning you, as my beloved reader and commenter, will benefit from having 1 additional link back to your website from my website.

However, links to pornographic, warez site, and sites which i deemed is illegal or with adult contents or with just the intention to give yourselves an additional link or spamdexing will be deleted without hesitation.

As of 26th Aug 2009, comments are not moderated and will appear immediately. However, i am considering to moderate if the spammer is still spamming the comments.

i've seen a couple blogs try the dofollow route. i have say that you need to add do follow, moderation and a max comment amount. i agree you should reward commentors and good comments are important. the need for max comments would be to prevent the pages from being to long and stop having the moderator from having to read so many spam comments

ReplyDeleteNice post. I like to make posts have an auto expiry date for comments to avaid spam. That way regular readers can comment like normal. Its not an ideal solution, i know but its what i do atm.

ReplyDeleteMost of the time i am pretty relax about the rules, as long as it is not commenting for the sake of spamming, i usually allow the link.
Hi and thanks for the post. I stumbled here from google and found it irresistable to comment. On my blog is use dofollow comments and it has increased the comment amount by about 100%. Moderation just takes a bit more time, but in my opinion it is worth it. I like rewarding my readers with the backlink.

ReplyDeleteProblem: i can't save the score eaven when i disable addon, reason: if disabling addon it only will disabled when firefox restart. When restarting automatically the score will be deleted. Question; can score be saved in some way??
Don't disable, uninstall the whole cheat.. in that way, you should be able to save..

2 Since you are going to provide a lot of blogs with backlinks, you are bound to get some back.
3 More relevant backlinks means a better page rank.
i have a friend who consistently gets scores in bejeweled blitz in the 400-600 thousand range. her multiplier goes up to 7 and i have seen it reach 8. i watch her replay on facebook. is she cheating? is she just gifted? or WHAT THE HECK? interested in your opinion.
