Selling Pirated Software in Bright DayLight in Comex

Well, not really bright daylight.

Anyway, bright daylight is a direct translation from a chinese proverb. 光天化日

I saw an article which was from a computer repair shop's website which reports a store in comex selling laptop preloaded with pirated windows software! Right in the noses of thousands of people!

Naturally, we human tends to think that if you dare to sell openly in such a big event, you should be the real stuff.

But hey, when we go to Kuala Lumpur Chee Cheong Kai, the stores are selling LVs and Guccis openly too =D

Well, everyone needs to earn more profit. But, didn't they play the stock market in march which rallied?

Well, technically, the licences are not pirated. The licences are original CD keys taken from other PCs. You are still able to updated and authenticate with microsoft.

However, logically, the licence is only allowed to be installed on 1 PC ONLY which in this case was the previous PC the COA was taken from. And the licence is not meant to be reused, Hence the CD keys become illegal when installed on another PC.

So take note when you purchase a new PC in the future when it comes with the windows software! Make sure you have the COA sticker which is branded new and does not look re-used!

So take
