Christopher Lee, Fann Wong Wedding Dinner at Shangri-La Hotel

christopher lee fan wong wedding singapore

A few months back, it was michelle and shaun chen wedding and now its fann turn. and again this is another celebrity wedding which is shown live on TV.

I believe this time, the sponsorship for fann heavily outweights michelle's

Just the jewelry, the sponsorship is 2.5m, which she designed some of them.

And that is just the accessories, not including the cars, gowns and maybe even the banquet!

Even mediacorp has dedicate a special website just for them.

Somehow, the biggest wedding in singapore did not inspire me to watch them live on tv, even though i can hear my father watching it in the living room.

Maybe because it does not feel like a natural wedding, seems to be too commericalize for me!

  2. Thanks for sharing..

I didnt noe abt their marriage since I live abroad..anyway celebrities marriage is too commercialised..nothing fancy..
despite economy crisis, increasing rates of Singaporean being jobless lost to fellow neighbouring n CHinese nationals, local celebrities seems to show less respect and exploit their extravagance n lavish lifestyle..MEDIACORP even showed live telecast..unbelievable! i think Sgporeans are turning into total unrealistic lifestyle, materialistic freak no different than Bollywood and Hollywood..
The future generation looks like there will be generation gap btw low incomes n middle or higher incomers..rich gets richer n the poor turned into criminals..

Their wedding doesnt make any impact..too commercialised..n not surprise some may ended in divorce like other celebrities aftr so much spending..despite all financial crisis, sponsors still r making millions of profit sponsoring such local celebrities.

  4. the batch of singapore actors and actress do not seems to awe me anymore, either i am old or they just do not have the charisma anymore.

singapore have not completely turn into hollywood, at least i do not think so with the current generation. Probably from the next generation, we might be experiencing the hollywood phenomena.

As we grew richer, the children who never experience hardship take things for granted and lost the drive to fight for what they want. Why? because they grew up with a silver spoon, if not, a bronze spoon. They mght have the brain and brawn, but not the street smartness to adapt in a changing world!

not just singapore, but anywhere in the world, the rich get richer and the poor get poorer, this is a solid truth that cant be overwritten.

  7. Sponsorised weddings are definitely less "natural" and romantic... but how else could you pay for a $2.5m necklace ? ^^
